Post World War III Planet Earth: 2270

It has been 117 years since World War Three ended and the world is still suffering from famine, pestilence, and much of the world after World War Three still hasn’t recovered from the devastating side effects of radiation poisoning. 

Many of the world’s countries on Planet Earth are still suffering from food shortages, and no one really knows about the long term side effects of radiation poisoning.

Throughout the world many countries are giving their citizens food coupons as food and clean water is in short supply, however one American family seems to be getting by. He is an ordinary gentleman with a wife and six children and they live in Virginia.

The first three of his children were born in different states, and his three youngest children were born in Maryland. 

Benjamin Lawrence Lowell is an attorney for the United States Government and he is able to live without coupons and support his wife, Colleen and their six children.

Tragedy hits The Lowells with the death of their oldest son, Benjamin Lawerence JR in 2267, shortly thereafter they are transferred to Brazil, until 2268, and they return to The United States and settle in Alexandria, Virginia.

January of 2268 Benjamin Lawrence's wife dies from the long term effects of radiation poisoning, followed by his eldest daughter, Lawreen, followed by Anna, and followed by Cameron and Stan, and only his middle daughter, Karissa and he are left alive.

By April of 2269, Benjamin Lawrence died and they left behind a sole surviving daughter, 14 year old Karissa.Elizabeth Ann Lowell and she is taken to relatives to live but in March of 2270, they can no longer provide for her and they sign her up for the United Federation of Planet relocation program out of San Francisco, California.

Karissa is nearly 15 years old when she boards The USS Republic that will transport her to Star Base 12 but her journey will take 4 years to complete and by the time she reaches Star Base 12 she will be 19 years old.

On March 31, 2270, Karissa is dropped off at The United Federation of Planet relocation program and with her suitcases in her hand she climbs out the car and her caretakers don’t even say good-bye to her and she starts to walk toward the relocation center where 499 other war orphans are waiting.

At 14:00 hours, The USS Republic takes off from San Francisco, California headed for Star Base 10 and then Star Base 12 with a stop at Rigel Seven and Talos IV. 

The USS Republic won’t reach Talos IV until April 1, 2274, and it won’t reach Rigel Seven until April 30, 2274, and finally Star Base 10 until May 1, 2274 and it won’t reach Star Base 12 until June 1, 2274.

Karissa remains by herself and spends a lot of time in the garden on board the USS Republic reading and listening to her music until April 5, 2274, when Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley who boards The USS Republic on Talos IV. 

Lt Kevin Thomas Riley has just lost his entire family to Kodos The Executioner on Talos IV due to famine and Kudos decides who is going to live and who is going to die and Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley’s family are not on the list to live. They are executed.

One day Karissa is sitting in the garden and Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley walks into the garden but he doesn’t see Karissa sitting in the garden at first but then he looks over and he asks “ Do you mind if I join you.” 

Karissa looks up and she answers “No. Please by all means join me.” 

“My name is Lt Kevin Thomas Riley.” Lt Kevin Thomas Riley tells her.

“My name is Karissa .” Karissa tells him.

“Where are you headed for Karissa ? Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley asks.

“I am going to Star Base 12 and you?” Karissa tells him.

“I am headed back to StarFleet Academy on Star Base 12.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley tells her.

“Where will you live on Star Base 12?” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley asks.

“I will be living at Madame’s Boarding House.” Karissa tells him.

“Oh that is out in Bedford Territory.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley tells her, “ I am good friends with the Duke of that territory.” 

“Duke of what territory?” Karissa asks.

“The Dukedom of Bedford Territory and his name is Lord Richard William Carey.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley tells her.

“112 years the first settlers on Star Base 12 were European aristocrats that fled from Pre-World War III.” Lt Kevin Thomas Riley states “Ever since they have governed Star Base 12.” 

“The primary family is Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and his relatives.” Lt Kevin Thomas Riley tells her.

Karissa listens to Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and she says  “ Aristocrats and commoners are the same.” 

During the journey to Star Base 12 they spend all their time together until finally The USS Republic orbits around Star Base 12 and The USS Republic sends shuttle crafts down with the passengers and the last ones are Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Maria to beam down .

Lt Kevin Thomas Riley escorts Karissa out of the shuttle-craft and Lord Richard William Carey greets him with Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR as they are the two senior Dukes on Star Base 12 and by his father’s side is 23 years old Lord Andrew Charles Howard.

Both Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JE extend their condolences to Lt. Kevin Riley on the loss of his family and he thanks them and he says “ I want you to meet Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell. She comes from Planet Earth through the relocation program started by The United Federation of Planets.” 

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR walks over and Karissa has knowledge of how to act with aristocrats and she gives a curtsy and Lord Charles Andrew JR extends his hand to her and he helps her to rise to her feet.

Lord Andrew Charles standing by his father smiles at Karissa and he feels his heart beat fast and he can’t keep his eyes off of Karissa Elizabeh Ann Lowell, but Kevin asks Lord Richard William Carey to see her to Madame Boarding House.

Both second cousins are 23 years old and they are both looking for their bride but neither has found her.

Both Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Andrew Charles Howard are two of the most handsome men on Star Base 12 and both are looking for his bride. 

The journey has been long and tiring and when Karissa left Planet Earth she was nearly 15 and now she is nearly 19 years old.

117 Years Later

112 Years later

It is 112 years later after Lord Patrick William Howard and his entourage settled on Star Base 12 to flee from Pre-World War III Planet Earth Europe.

Lord Patrick William Howard’s great-grandson, Lord Charles Andrew Howard Junior is Duke of Norfolk Territory. 

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is the eldest child and son of Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior and Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Churchill and Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior is the second son and third child of Lord Frederick William Howard and Lady Jeanette Virginia Beaufort.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR was born in January of 2209, and he was welcomed  by his father and mother who would go on to have three more children, Lord Richard Edward was born in 2215, followed by Lady Sophia Charlotte in 2220 and Lord Edwin William Howard in 2225.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard marries Lady Patricia Eugenie Stuart, the only daughter of Lord Matthew Stuart, Duke of Lennox Territory in 2228 and 18 months later she gives birth to the first of their five children, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III, Lady Patricia Charlene Howard in 2235, Lord Patrick William Howard II, he is named after his paternal great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard, and it is angers Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior and he tells his son, “ Why didn’t you name him after my father?” 

“Listen here old man. Lord Patrick William II is my son. I will name him after my great-grandfather because without him you wouldn’t be here and neither would my grandfather.” Lord Charles Andrew Jr tells his father.

“Did your father tell you what to name your sons?” Lord Charles Andrew JR asks his father “naturally Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior couldn’t answer his son’s question;

After Lord Partick William Howard II is born Lady Patricia has a second daughter, Lady Charlotte Augusta in 2245 and she is followed by the last child, Lord Andrew Charles named after Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR’s favorite uncle, Lord Andrew Charles Howard who marries Lady Elizabeth Percy, the heiress of The Dukedom of Northumberland Territory.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard was born in 2250 in December on the second day of Yuletide. 

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR started to arrange his children’s marriages starting in 2249, with Lord Charles Andrew III, followed by Lady Patricia Charlene in 2253, followed by Lord Patrick William II in 2258, and finally Lady Charlotte Augusta in 2260.

 Lord Andrew Charles Howard is 13 years old when he sees his favorite sister marry in 2263 and he is alone by himself and he is very much alone but he is favorite with the ladies on Star Base 12 and within his father’s Dukedom.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard is good looking, well educated, he is the great-great-grandson of Lord Patrick William Howard, but he is the third son of Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and he doesn’t expect to ascend to the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory, but Lady Charlotte Augusta at the age 5 predicates that Lord Andrew Charles will succeed his father to The Dukedom of Norfolk Territory and Lord Charles Andrew JR asks his wife, “Could this child be right?”

“You know what they say out of the mouth of babes comes the truth and she is your favorite child.” Lady Patricia tells her husband.

Lord Charles Andrew JR starts to arrange his children’s marriages starting with Lord Charles Andrew III in 2249, followed by Lady Patricia Charlene in 2251, followed by Lord Patrick William II in 2255, and followed by Lady Charlotte Augusta in 2261 and the only one left is 13 year old, Lord Andrew Charles.

Lord Andrew Charles is 13 years old when Lady Charlotte Augusta is married and he is all by himself and only his father takes an interest in  his youngest son.

Lord Andrew Charles has several cousins living on Star Base 12 within other territories on Star Base 12 but he doesn’t get along with Lord Thomas William Howard, Lord Richard William Carey who are his second cousins but he does get along with his first cousin, Lord Richard Edward Howard II.

The time goes by and finally in 2268, at the age of 18 years Lord Andrew Charles is ready for marriage and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR summons his youngest son, Lord Andrew Charles and he tells him “ I have found you a suitable match.” 

Lord Andrew Charles tells his father “ I will not marry a woman that I don't love and I will not consummate  my marriage.” 

“Love will come later, Lord Andrew Charles. We don’t marry for love as aristocrats, we marry for other reasons.” Lord Charles Andrew explains.

“I am sorry father, but I won’t marry the woman.” Lord Andrew Charles tells him.

“My dear son, Lord Andrew Charles.  I depend on you to give me my first grandchild as I can’t expect either of your older brothers to do it.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Listen father. I am not responsible for my brother’s failing marriages and lack of children.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“Tell your sons to start to copulate with their wives.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his father “ Do they expect the stork to bring them a baby and drop it down the chimney.?”

“I promise I will give my grandfather his first great-grandchild and since he has no sexual preference it makes it is easier.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his father and with that child he will become the next Duke of Norfolk Territory, but where is the lady who will give him his first child. She is nowhere to be found on Star Base 12 or within any of the territories.

Lord Andrew Charles has no interest in any of the young aristocratic women on Star Base 12 and he doesn’t want to marry an aristocrat.

So, for the next seven years he remains single.

Prologue : From A Distance 

The World that Lord Patrick William Howard would change overnight and the world he once knew would be destroyed in the blink of an eye.

A long time ago a man named Noah was told to build an ark and gather up 12  clean animals of both sexes, 7 unclean animals and his family after he was told by his creator to build an ark.

Where Noah listened to his creator and he gathered up the supplies that he needed to build the ark as he built it his neighbors made fun of him and he told them that a great flood was coming to destroy the earth with a great floor.

Noah’s neighbors made fun of him and told him that there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and when he finally finished the ark he gathered up the animals that his creator told him  to do and he gathered up his wife, sons, daughter in laws, daughters, and son-in-laws and they entered into the ark.

All of a sudden the skies darkened and it started to rain and the earth that Noah knew changed over night, but eventually the rain subsided and Noah unleashed a dove and the dove brought back to twing that revealed new land.

The same thing would happen to Lord Patrick William Howard in the year of 2153, he had heard news of World War III that began in 2125 but it didn’t really escalate until 2153.

Lord Patrick William Howard really didn’t know the date that World War III would start but with his brother in law, Lord Walter Devereux.

They went door to door in England where some of the most prominent families lived in Norfolk Suffolk, Essex, Wessex, Sussex, Bedford, Lancaster, Kent,  Gloucester, Cambridge, and York with his brother in law and Lord Walter Devereux and Lord Patrick William explained that they had the news of  World War III was about to begin and Lord Patrick William pleaded with his neighbors to accompany Lord Walter and his wife, Lady Georgina to The USS Excalibur at Heathrow International Airport in London.

Lord Patrick William pleaded with his father, mother, brother and sister to come with him but his father, Lord Edward told his son, “No we won’t leave England.” 

“Please father. Don’t you use the world as we know it will change forever more.” Lord Patrick tells his father.

Lord Patrick Wiliam was able to convince the following families to come with Lord Walter, Lady Georgina and Lady Penelope on April 29 and they were “ The Beauforts, The Collins, The Cravens, The Greys, The Bourbons, The Habsburgs, The Stuarts, The Seymours, The Staffords, and The Valois and The Devereux.

Lord Patrick told them that they had two days to pack up only what they could carry in their suitcases and told the men to pack up their tools of their trade.

Lord Patrick, Lady Penelope and Lord Walter and Lady Georgina took one final pilgrimage out to Bosworth field to pay a final farewell to the noble ancestors, Lord John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk and Lord Walter Devereux who had died together fighting for their sovereign, King Richard III who had been slaughtered by Henry Tudor who later became King Henry VII of England.

Lord Patrick and Lord Walter carried a reef of white roses to lay where they had fallen in 1483 and said, “ This is good-bye. I am afraid we will never see our beloved England again.” and with that Lord Patrick and Lord Walter walk away with their wives.

Lord Patrick Willliam and Lord Walter are met by the husbands and wives of the families they asked to come along with them on their five year long journey to Star Base 12, a United Federation Colony that stimulates Planet Earth.

On April 30, 2153 they boarded the USS Excalibur at Heathrow International Airport and they  are shown to their quarters.

Captain Decker is the commanding officer of the USS Excalibur and he informs his passengers that their journey will take four and half years to reach Star Base 12 but they will be kept as comfortable as possible during their journey.

On May 1, 2153, unexpectedly World World III breaks out and everyone is asleep when the ECON launches the first nuclear war missiles and Captain Decker tells his passenger that the world that they once  knew has been destroyed and almost all of the cities are no more and he tells his passengers . “ At precisely 0230.26 hours Eastern Standard Time, on 1 May 2153 (an event later known as the "May Day Horror of '53"), the Eastern Coalition launched a first strike comprised of intercontinental ballistic missiles, bomber attacks, and portable nuclear weapons, against major North American and European cities, combined with a simultaneous Interface viral assault against the New United Nations computer infrastructure.n

 Much to the surprise of the ECON political leadership, the New United Nations immediately retaliated with nuclear launches of their own, as well as bomber and satellite-based attacks against targets in the Middle East and Asia. Many Pacific nations sided with the Eastern Coalition against the United States when fighting finally broke out. Other political groupings, such as the Muslim Bloc, were likewise hit extremely hard during the nuclear exchanges, despite being non-aligned with either side during the war.

The detonation of nuclear weapons over cities (in the multiple-megaton range) such as Washington, D.C., London, Moscow, Berlin, New York City, Boston, Dallas, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Mecca, Riyadh, Samarkand, Karachi, Singapore, and New Delhi killed nearly half a billion people instantly. Smaller detonations occurred over Hong Kong, Beijing, and Ho Chi Minh City. Un-detonated or failed nuclear devices were discovered in or around targets such as Denver, Paris, Madrid, Rome, and Istanbul. Of the hundreds of ICBMs and bombers launched by the United States and allied forces, only one in five made it into the air, due to EMP weapons and viral attacks against the military computer networks — of these, only a fraction detonated properly. 

Conventional military forces on both sides were quickly moved into offensive position against their respective foes — on 3 May 2053, the First, Eighth, and Sixteenth Fleets under New United Nations command carry front-line troops into the Bay of Bengal, and the ECON launches a massive invasion of the North American continent, sending troops and military aircraft southward through Canada. Targets in New England (including Massachusetts), Minnesota, the Rocky Mountains, and the Midwest are hit hard by ECON forces, the U.S. military's defenses along the Canadian border failing utterly. The United States Air Force and United States Army both fought back against the invaders, but lose many fighters and ground soldiers to the enemy.[citation needed]

Certain military units were abandoned in enemy territory during the war, including a New United Nations brigade under the command of Colonel Green in Kashmiristan in late May. Finally, the Eastern Coalition's governing palace was destroyed by American forces, killing ECON founder Lee Kua.” 

Lord Patrick William and his entourage is told that no one survived the initial blast and over 600 million people died instantly.

Lord Patrick William with his entourage can’t believe that the world they once knew was totally devastated in the blink of an eye.

Several years later some good news reaches them and the monster that started it had been killed by Flint The Immortal with the Ebola Virus where he was in the Mountain of Montana.

Lord Patrick Willian Howard and his entourage did not reach their new home on Star Base 12 until May 1, 2159.

Lord Patrick William Howard and the families like Noah escape the devastating effects of Post World War III and they have to start to rebuild their lives.

Lord Patrick William sets out to find a country manor for all the families to share until they can build their new homes and Lord Patrick William is an architect and he draws up the blueprints for everyone’s new homes and he helps his neighbors to rebuild their lives and he is the last one to erect his new home.

Finally in 2164, Lord Patrick William new country manor of Norfolk Estate is built he claims the northern territory on Star Base 12 and he names it Norfolk Territory and the other gentlemen claim their territories and one by one they start to have their families on Star Base 12.

Lady Margaret is the first wife to give birth to the first new child on Star Base 12 in January of 2165, she gives birth to Lord Frederick William Howard, followed by Lady Elizabeth Ann in 2170, and Lord Edward William Howard in 2175.

Lady Louisa Beaufort gives birth to Lord Edmund and her first child, a daughter, Lady Jeanette Virginia in 2167, and a son, Lord Charles Beaufort in 2172 and another son, Lord Thomas Beaufort in 2179.

One by one every family starts to have their family and Lord Patrick William and his neighbors give praise to their Creators for bringing them safely to Star Base 12 on Mabon, The Pagan Thanksgiving of 2180.

Lord Patrick William Howard and his entourage never forget that in a blink of an eye their world was changed overnight.

Later on, Lord Patrick William receives the official death list from The United Federation of Planets and he sees his father, mother’s and siblings' names on the list.

The United Federation of Planets stated they didn’t even know what hit them and they killed instantly while they were sleeping.

The New United Nations with the help of The United Federation of Planets helps to bury the deceased that perished during the first nuclear blast.

Lord Patrick William took heed like Noah and he made sure that his family would continue along with the rest of the families that escaped the May 1, 2153 horror that changed their lives forever.
