Lord Andrew Charles Howard, fifth Duke of Norfolk Territory was like every man throughout history he longed for a  son, and he already had two beautiful daughters, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane his heiress, and his spare heiress, Lady Samhain Wilhelmina  Charlene Howard, Duchess of Clarence Territory.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard wanted a son to carry on his family name that his paternal great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard started in 2159.

It was in Autumn of 2279, Odin answered his prayers and Lady Karissa became pregnant for the third time and he prayed to Odin for a son to carry his surname.

Lady Karissa didn’t care what the gender of their third child was going to be but she hoped for Lord Andrew Charles sake it was the son he longed for. 

Lord Andrew Charles, desperate for a son, carries himself to Star-Fleet Academy to ask his first cousin once removed, Lord David William Beck, how to get himself a son.

When Lord David Beck sees his first cousin once removed, Lord Andrew Charles walking through his office door he looks up and asks, “ What brings you to my office Lord Andrew Charles?”

“I need to ask you some questions and I hope you can answer them.” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.” Lord David William Beck answers him.

“How do I get myself a son?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

Lord David Beck looks at Lord Andrew Charles and  tells him “ Let me see if I can answer that.  It takes one xy to get a son, and a xx makes a daughter. “

“Second, the male sperm prefers an acid base rather than alkaline base when it journeys up the tubes and it is said that female sperm is a lot more aggressive than the male sperm and it travels faster than it male counterpart.” Lord David tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Third, you need to try a new position to get yourself a son.” Lord David William explains.

“What position do you recommend?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“No one position will guarantee you a son, I am sorry to say. It is a matter of chance.” Lord David William states.

“I read if you use the cowboy style, reverse cowboy position or even doggy style you may get yourself a son.” Lord David William tells Lord Andrew Charles.

With the information given to him by Lord Andrew Charles, decided to give Lady Karissa an unscheduled visit in September of 2279.

Lady Karissa isn’t too happy to see Lord Andrew Charles and she looks at him and asks “What is it Lord Andrew Charles?”

“I am lonely this evening, Lady Karissa.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“What, you have two mistresses? How can you be lonely?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I am bored with them. They don’t excite me.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“What have you tried with them, Andrew Charles?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I have tried everything but I can’t get an erection?” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“Tell them to give you a hand job or a blowjob?” Lady Karissa tells him.

“It doesn’t work.” Lord Andrew Charles whines.

“Why don’t  you masturbate ?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I don't work either.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Have you ever heard of Viagra?” Lady Karissa asks.

“No. I don't know what it is?” Lord Andrew Charles asks

“It treats a man who can’t get an erection.” Lady Karissa states.

“I have no problem getting an erection. It is those damn women that don’t arouse me.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“What is the purpose of your unscheduled visit with me, Andrew Charles?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I have come  to make love to you this evening.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Oh! You want to make love or what do you call making love this evening?” Lady Karissa asks.

“Yes it is time once again. It has been 41/2 years since we last made love and I am hoping this time it will give me our son.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“I see. You think you will create a son this evening?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I am praying.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Andrew Charles Howard, I am dropping the Lord in front of your name and let me tell you something  you were not disappointed when Lady Elizabeth or Lady Samhain were born.” Lady Karissa explains.

“I know and I love our daughters, don’t you think we deserve one son.” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“Andrew Charles, did you take biology in high school or that high priced parochial school you attended?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I am not the one who determines the sex of our unborn child you are and listen here Bluff King Henry VIII of Star Base 12. I am not Queen Anne Boleyn and you can’t execute me for not having a son.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Furthermore, Lady Elizabeth is your heiress to the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory and your grandfather so stated it.” Lady Karissa explains.

“If you want a son so bad, split one out. “ Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lord David told us to try a new position making love. It might give me my son.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Oh your son. Forgive me,but  are you going to carry him for nine months, go through the labor and delivery.” Lady Karissa asks.

“I will rephase it. Our son.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“I will tell you what, but it goes against my better judgment. We will make love this evening, but don’t kill yourself over getting a son.” Lady Karissa states.

With that Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa make love for the third time in the five years of marriage and with  a little luck Lord Andrew Charles would have created a son.

Lady Karissa has to wait 60 days before she can know if she is pregnant and when she misses two cycles she knows she is pregnant but she refuses to go through an amniocentesis test but she goes through an ultrasound test and the ultrasound proves it is a son.

Lady Karissa carries the ultrasound picture back to Beltane Manor and she hands it to Lord Andrew Charles and he looks at it and smiles “ I am having a son.” 

“I have chosen his name, Lord Anthony Christopher Howard.” Lady Karissa states.

“I like those names and they have a noble ring.” Lord Andrew Charles states, “I will create him Duke of Lancaster Territory in the name of his great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard.” 

“Our son is due in June of 2280.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lord David estimated I conceived this child on Mabon, September 21, and it was the Pagan Thanksgiving and maybe Odin heard your prayer and granted it.” Lady Karissa states.

Lord Andrew Charles is in seventh heaven with the news after his third try he is going to be blessed with a son.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane aged 41/2 years old and Lady Samhain 21/2 years old heard the news and they brought over to see their father and mother and Lady Elizabeth looked at her mother “ I need a sister mama.” 

“Lady Elizabeth. I gave you a sister in Lady Samhain.” Lady Karissa tells her, “ Ask your father?”

“No! I don’t like my father. I want a new one.” Lady Elizabeth tells her.

“I want a new husband, Lady Elizabeth, but it is not easy and simple. I am stuck with your father as you are stuck with him.” Lady Karissa tells Lady Elizabeth.

“Why can’t I have my third cousin, Lord Richard William Carey?” Lady Elizabeth asks.

“He is your third cousin, Lady Elizabeth. You and he share the same great-great-grandfather, Lord Frederick William Howard.” Lady Karissa states.

“I am sure Lord Richard William Carey would be very touched that you want him to be your father.” Lady Karissa states” But you don’t want to hurt your grandfather.” 

“I love my granddaddy.” Lady Elizabeth states, “Why couldn’t I have Uncle Lord Charles Andrew III or Lord Patrick William II as my father?” Lady Elizabeth asks.

“I am sorry Lady Elizabeth. You are stuck with your father.” Lady Karissa tells her.

Lady Samhain walks over to her and she looks at her mother “ I  will love him mama.” 

“I know you will, my little peacemaker.” Lady Karissa tells her younger daughter.

“I am going to ask my granddaddy to take his son and his grandson to York with him.” Lady Elizabeth tells her mother.

“I am sorry but your brother will live at Beltane Manor, not what your grandfather does with his son is his own business.” Lady Karissa explains.

“Please mama next time give me a new baby sister.” Lady Elizabeth asks her.

“Lady Elizabeth. I will try but I can’t promise it to you.” Lady Karissa tells her.

Lord Andrew Charles shares the good news with his brothers, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III, Lord Patrick William II, his father, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and his cousins, Lord Richard Edward II, Lord Richard William Carey, Lord Frederick William Howard III, and Lord Thomas William Howard.

Lord Andrew Charles orders the bells throughout Norfolk Territory to ring and proclaim that the first  Howard great-grandson of Lord Charles Howard Senior through his son, Lord Charles Andrew JR is on his way.

All the bells start to sound throughout Star Base 12 and they don’t stop for many days.

Lady Karissa remains in her suites during her pregnancy and the only ones she will see are Lord David William Beck and Lord Richard William Carey.

Lord Richard William Carey  tells Lady Karissa “ Lord Andrew Charles is so happy about his son.” 

“I know Lord Richard.’ Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lady Elizabeth wants you to be her father.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Nothing would make me happier, but I don’t think my second cousin or his son would approve, but I will tell you what I will make Lady Elizabeth my honorary daughter.” Lord Richard William tells Lady Karissa.

“I mean he is not my favorite person and I prefer Lord Thomas or Lord Frederick over him.” Lord Richard William states.

“I know they call you the three musketeers of Star Base 12.” Lady Karissa states, “I have a better name for you three and it is the three stooges.” 

“Moe, Joe,and Curly.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Richard William.

Lord Andrew Charles comes to Lady Karissa ‘s suite and he walks into her suite and she looks up at him  “Do you know how to knock on my door?” 

“I have a personal secretary to make appointments with me, Lord Andrew Charles.” Lady Karissa states.

“I have come to ask if you need anything?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“Yes a divorce.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“I will not give you a divorce, Lady Karissa.’ Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lord Richard William tells him “ Lady Karissa will get her divorce from you one day, Lord Andrew Charles.” 

“When she does I will marry her myself.” Lord Richard William states “You better not stand in my way.” 

“Lord Frederick William III and Lord Thomas William Howard will stand behind her as will Lord Charles Andrew III and Lord Patrick William II.” Lord Richard William tells him.

“You will only have Lord Richard Edward Howard II as your ally.” Lord Richard William Carey states.

“It is understandable that Lord Richard Edward II and you are good friends as you are first cousins.” Lord Richard William Carey states.

“Lord Frederick William Howard is your first cousin once removed, Lord Thomas and I are your second cousins once removed, and Lord Frederick William III is Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain first cousin twice removed, but they are our third cousins.'' Lord Richard William states.

“I am fine, Andrew Charles. Lord Richard William is keeping me company.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“I have stated the only people I will see during this time are Lord Richard William Carey and our daughters.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lord David is welcome.” Lady Karissa tells him, “I am not in the mood to take visitors.” 

“Why don’t you carry yourself to the nursery to visit our daughters.?” Lady Karissa states.

“Don’t upset Lady Elizabeth. Your father is not pleased with it.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lady Samhain will be happy to see you.” Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa and he bows and walks out of the door and he walks down to the nursery to see his daughters and when Lady Elizabeth sees her father she starts to scream “ I am calling my grandfather.” 

“I am asking him to send you back to Norfolk Estate.’” Lady Elizabeth tells him.

“I am your father and Duke of Norfolk Territory.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lady Elizabeth looks at her father “ I am your heiress and my grandfather said I am and you can’t replace me.” 

“One day I will become Duchess of Norfolk Territory and when I do I will never let another man become Duke of Norfolk Territory.” Lady Elizabeth tells her father.

“What if you only have sons, Lady Elizabeth?” Lord Andrew Charles asks her.

‘I will make sure my sisters and female cousins get it.” Lady Elizabeth tells her father.

“I will exclude all males.” Lady Elizabeth tells her father.

“When I marry my first child will be a daughter and I will name her after my mother.” Lady Elizabeth tells him.

“I wouldn’t be here without my mother.” Lady Elizabeth tells him.

“I agree with you, Lady Elizabeth but without me you wouldn’t be here either.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“My third cousin wouldn’t be here without my great-great-aunt, Lady Sophia Charlotte.” Lady Elizabeth states.

“Your third cousin has a great-grandfather, grandfather, and father, Lady Elizabeth.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Lord William Carey was his great-grandfather, Lord George Carey was his grandfather and Lord Robert Carey was his father.” Lord Andrew Charles explains to Lady Elizabeth.

“His maternal great-great-grandfather is your paternal great-great-grandfather, Lord Frederick William Howard.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

Lady Karissa with Lord Richard William Carey walk into the nursery and Lady Elizabeth runs to her mother and third cousin “ I am telling my grandfather to banish him from Beltane Manor.” 

“Lady Elizabeth. Beltane Manor is my property and only I can banish him.’ Lady Karissa explains “Beltane is in Bedford Territory and if Lord Richard William is the Duke.” Lady Karissa tells her.

Lord Richard William tells Lord Andrew Charles and he tells him “ Listen here Lord Andrew Charles. Don’t upset Lady Elizabeth.” 

“I don’t want to have to banish you from my territory.” Lord Richard William states.

“Lady Elizabeth, settle down please. It doesn’t do any good to throw fits when you see your father.” Lord Richard William explains.

“Andrew Charles. I thought you came to see your children and not to make them upset.” Lady Karissa asks.

“I did come to visit them, but Lady Elizabeth started to throw one of her fits.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Lady Elizabeth. I have asked you to behave.” Lady Karissa tells her  “ Try to get along with your father.”

Lady Elizabeth looks at her mother and she is silent.

Barbara please put Lady Elizabeth and Samhain to bed, after they are given their bedtime snack;” Lady Karissa asks.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa and he walks out of the nursery, down the corridor, and to his suite.

Lady Karissa and Lord Richard William Carey return to her suite.

“I don’ t know why Lord Andrew Charles sets off Lady Elizabeth so much.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Richard William.

“Lady Elizabeth is so much like Lord Andrew Charles when he was younger.” Lord Richard William states.

“There was no doubt in my mind that my cousin was one of the  best looking young men on Star Base 12, but he paid no attention to the young women here on Star Base 12.” Lord Richard William states, “I can’t blame him.” 

“Lady Elizabeth is his carbon copy and they will always butt horns.” Lord Richard William states, “ I believe that Lady Elizabeth will have a mission to change Star Base 12 and Norfolk Territory.” Lord Richard William tells Lady Karissa..

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR hears that his son has upset his heiress once again and he tells Lady Sarah “I am going to put my youngest son over my knee and give him a good thrashing.” Lord Charles Andrew JR “ Something he should have gotten when he was younger.”

“I had to wait for 33 years for my heiress to be born, and less time that I had to wait for him.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Lord Charles Andrew JR. You need to settle down.” Lady Sarah tells her husband.

Lord Charles Andrew JR summons his first cousin, Lord Frederick William III, his grand-nephew, Lord David William Beck, his second cousin, Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Thomas William Howard and asks them to meet him out at Beltane Manor along with his two sons, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord Patrick William II.

They all set out from their territories to Beltane Manor with all of them arriving at Beltane Manor headed by Lord Charles Andrew JR and he knocks on the door and Lady Karissa answers the door” Lord Charles Andrew JR what brings you to Beltane Manor?” 

“My damn youngest son, Lord Andrew Charles.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states, and with him his nephew, grand-nephew, first cousin, and all of his cousins.

“Lord Andrew Charles is in the family room.” Lady Karissa states and with that Lord Charles Andrew JR with his kin walks in and Lord Andrew Charles looks up and “What brings you here father?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I will tell you, you do.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states, “I got a letter from my HEIRESS and she is complaining.” 

"Listen here boy. I brought you into this world and I can take you out.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states, “ I have told you not to upset my heiress.” 

“I had to wait 33 years for her to arrive.  It didn’t have to wait that long for my children.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Do I have to replace you with Lord Charles Andrew III or Lord Patrick William II as regents for Lady Elizabeth until she turns 18 years old?” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Lady Karissa . You are Lady Elizabeth’s mother and I am asking you to be a co-regent for Lady Elizabeth until she reaches 18 years old.” Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.

Lady Elizabeth is brought into the family room by Barbara and she runs to her grandfather who picks her up and “Granddaddy. My father  is trying to replace me with a son.” 

“Don’t worry Lady Elizabeth. Your great-grandfather’s Last Will and Testament won’t allow it, but I can overturn your father’s Dukedom.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Listen dad. Lady Karissa and I are expecting your first grandson.” Lord Andrew Charles states, “Lady Elizabeth is upset that we are having a son and not another little sister for her.” 

“Lady Elizabeth. I want you to be good for me. Do what your mother asks and love your sister and new little brother.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells her.

“You have to set a good example for the younger children including Lady Charlotte Victoria Maud Howard.” Lord Charles Andrew JR explains.

“I love Lady Samhain,  and Lady Charlotte Victoria, Lord Richard Edward III, and Lord David William Beck II, and I love Lord Richard Edward II, Lord Frederick William III, Lord Richard William Carey, and my uncles.” Lady Elizabeth states.

“I don’t love my father, granddaddy. He hasn’t been there for Lady Samhain and me.” Lady Elizabeth states.

“Listen boy. Carry yourself to the nursery more often than you have been doing so and spend time with my grandchild. Lady Karissa was good enough to bless you, with your children.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Lord Charles Andrew III and Lord Patrick William II help your brother govern this territory, so he doesn’t neglect my grandchildren.” Lord Charles Andrew JR orders his sons.

“Lord Frederick William. You will report to me all activities that happen between Lord Andrew Charles and his children.” Lord Charles JR tells his first cousin.

“Lord Richard William Carey, if you need to ban my son from your territory send him back to Norfolk Estate.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his cousin.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at his father “ Lady Elizabeth is difficult to handle dad.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his dad.

“Lady Elizabeth can be no more difficult than you were when you were growing up.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states “Your mother pampered your damn rear-end when you were born. You were our youngest child and our youngest son.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states. “You were pampered by Lady Charlotte Augusta.”

“I had to govern this territory and you were left to be raised by a woman from the highlands and their ways are not our ways.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“I have the prerogative to replace you with a regency until Lady Elizabeth comes of age.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“You have only been Duke for five years and you have already done more damage to this territory except for the changes that Lady Karissa has done.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“I will not see you do what my great-grandfather started over 120 years ago.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Do you know what he had to go through when he left his home to travel to Star Base 12 from Pre-World War III Planet Earth?” Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.

“I have his journals that he wrote and I read them and they are full of tears.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“Shape up or ship out, Lord Andrew Charles.” Lord Charles Andrew JR orders his youngest son.

“Lady Karissa . You are Duchess of Norfolk and you have equal power with my son and it was confirmed upon you when he became Duke.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“I am also the Marchioness of Pembroke Territory and I have my territory to think of to  Lord Charles Andrew JR.” Lady Karissa explains.

“Come to think of it, I think it is a good time to visit my territory and I will take Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain with me. “ Lady Karissa tells Lord Charles Andrew JR.

“Will you accompany me, Lord Richard William Carey, Lord Thomas William and Lord Frederick William and Lord Richard Edward II.” Lady Karissa asks.

“It will be a pleasure to accompany you, Lady Karissa .” Lord Richard William states.

“I will leave in two days time to visit my territory.” Lady Karissa tells everyone.

“Lady Elizabeth. Go with Barbara back to the nursery and play with your sister.” Lord Charles Andrew JR asks her and he kisses her.

“If you are a good girl after you return I will come and pick you up and you may come to York House and you can play with your aunt, Lady Frederica.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells her.

With every said done, Lord Charles Andrew JR and his entourage bow and they depart from Beltane Manor.

Lady Karissa looks at Lord Andrew Charles  “ You are making this more difficult on all of us.”  Lady Karissa states.

“While I am gone to Pembroke. Carry yourself back to Norfolk Estate.” Lady Karissa asks. 

“You will have no reason to stay at Beltane Manor.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lord Charles Andrew Howard III will look after Beltane Manor for me.” Lady Karissa states.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa “I will go and pack.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lady Karissa calls for her servants and she tells them to start packing the children's clothes and toys and her clothes in the suitcases. 

The next two days and one night, Lady Karissa sleeps in her suite and Lord Andrew Charles sleeps in his.
