The Trip to Pembroke Territory

Two days later, Lady Karissa with Lord Richard William Carey, Lord Thomas William Howard, Lord Frederick William Howard who she fondly calls  The Three Stooges of Star Base 12 along with Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain walk out of Beltane Manor and with the help of Lord Andrew Charles he helps them to settle into the Howard carriage that will carry Lady Karissa and their two daughters to Pembroke Territory.

Pembroke Territory was named for Pembroke, Wales that was the birthplace of King Henry VII who was the son of Lord Edmund Tudor and Lady Margaret Beaufort. 

Lord Edmund Tudor was the half brother of King Henry VI of England through his mother, Princess Katherine of Valois who married first, King Henry V of England and secondly, Sir Owen Tudor.

Lord Edmund Tudor was the half brother of King Henry VI of England and he married his brother, Lord Edmund Tudor to his cousin, Lady Margaret Beaufort to ensure the line of Lord John of Gaunt wouldn’t die off.

Lady Margaret Beaufort was the great-granddaughter of Lord John of Gaunt who was the third son of King Edward III of England and she was the only child of Lord John Beaufort the 1st Duke of Lancaster.

Lord Patrick William built Pembroke Territory in 2150 and he bestowed the title upon his daughter, Lady Elizabeth Ann Howard in 2190.

When Lady Elizabeth Ann Howard died in 2240 it fell into an abyss and until Lord Charles Andrew JR bestowed the title upon Lady Karissa it had no Duchess.

Pembroke, Wales had been totally destroyed during World War III in 2153, but Lord Patrick William with his own hands recreates the birthplace of the First Tudor King even though Henry Tudor kills his noble ancestor, Lord John Howard as through his granddaughter, Lady Elizabeth Howard and her daughter, Queen Anne Boleyn came his greatest ancestor, Queen Elizabeth I of England.

Lord Patrick William Howard a great lover for his beloved England and Wales and so he recreated Pembroke Territory on Star Base 12.

When he finished his work he showed his nephew, Lord Richard Devereux and they smiled at each other and Lord Richard tells his Uncle, “It looks just like the castle that King Henry VII was born in.”

Pembroke Territory after 84 years has a new Duchess and her name is Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard nee Lowell and with her entourage they head off for Pembroke Territory.

Lady Elizabeth sits on Lord Richard William Carey’s lap, and Lady Karissa carries Lady Samhain and in the front of the Howard carriage rides Lord Richard Edward II,  on the right side rides, Lord Frederick William Howard, on the left side, Lord Thomas William Howard II and in the left side rides, Lord Patrick William Howard II.

“Don’t let anyone get near the Howard carriage with my Duchess and children.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lord Richard William.

“Our phrases are on kill.” Lord Richard Edward II states and he watches the Howard carriage pull away before he climbs into his carriage and heads back to Norfolk Estate.

Lady Karissa has sent a message to Kevin Riley and Richard Williams to join her out at Pembroke Territory. 

When Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley receives the message he heads for Lt Richard William and he tells him “ We have been invited to join Karissa out in Pembroke Territory.” 

“Hey, it sounds like fun.” Lt Richard William states, “Let’s get packed and join Karissa .” Richard tells Kevin.

So, Kevin and Richard get packed and they are granted an extended leave from the Dean of StarFleet Academy to join Karissa .

Richard and Kevin walk over to his convertible mustang which is antique and they climb into his car and set off for Pembroke Territory and Kevin tells Richard “Why don’t you put on some jamming music as we head off to join Karissa “”

Richard turns on the radio and they head off for Pembroke Territory and they head for Pembroke Territory.

It has been five years since they last saw Karissa and they haven’t met her two daughters, Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain.

Lady Karissa and her entourage head for Pembroke but their first stop is the Earldom of Essex where Lord David William Beck greets them for the first day and evening of their journey.

Lord David William Howard has Chartley Manor prepared for them to stay in as long as they need it and it has servants and a cook.

Lord David with Lady Katherine greets the Howard carriage at the Border of Essex Territory and Lord David William walks up to the Howard carriage and he smiles “ Welcome to My Territory.”  Lord David William tells Lady Karissa..

“I see you have my two second cousins with you.” Lord David tells her.

“Do you think I would leave my children with your first cousin once removed.” Lady Karissa asks.

“I didn’t think so.” Lord David tells her.

“I packed him back to Norfolk Estate.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lord Charles Andrew Howard III is taking care of Beltane Manor.” Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord David and Lady Katherine with their son, Lord David William II entertain Lady Karissa and her entourage while the children play with each other.

Finally, Lady Karissa calls Barbara to come and put Lady Elizabeth and Samhain to bed and she heads off for her suite.

The next morning after they have eaten breakfast they head off for Wessex Territory where Lord Richard Edward II and Lady Suzanne will host Lady Karissa and her entourage as they head for Pembroke Territory.

Lady Karissa gives Lady Elizabeth to Lord Richard William Carey and she carries Lady Samhain into the Howard carriage and she thanks Lord David and Lady Katherine for their hospitality.

The Howard carriage heads for Wessex Territory with Lord Richard Edward II in front of the Howard carriage and Lady Elizabeth is very content with Lord Richard William Carey holding her and Lady Samhain holding Kosem in her arms.

Lady Samhain is known as the Little Peacemaker in the Howard family and every family deserves one. 

Barbara sits next to Lady Karissa and the Howard carriage enters Wessex Territory and Lord Richard Edward II and he welcomes Lady Karissa to his territory and he is met by Lady Suzanne who has Lord Richard Edward III in the Howard carriage.

Lady Elizabeth sees her second cousin and she smiles “ Mama. May I get out and go and see my cousin, Lord Richard Edward III.”  Lady Elizabeth asks.

“Yes of course, Lady Elizabeth. Lord Richard William, will you please escort Lady Elizabeth to see her cousin, Lord Richard Edward III.” Lady Karissa asks.

“Come on Lady Elizabeth. Let’s go greet our cousin,Lord Richard Edward III.” Lord Richard William tells her and they climb out the Howard carriage and Lord Richard William Carey with Lady Elizabeth walk up to where Lady Suzanne is with Lord Richard Edward III who is 4.½ years old and Lady Elizabeth walks up to Lord Richard Edward III and she embraces him and she gives him  a kiss on his cheek and “Hi dear Lord Richard Edward III. Gee, Aunt, Lady Suzanne, why are you keeping my cousin from me?”

“Hello, dear Lady Elizabeth. I am sure that your mother would agree for Lord Richard Edward III and you to see each other at Beltane Manor.” Lady Suzanne tells her niece.

Lady Suzanne walks over to where Lady Karissa is sitting in the carriage holding Lady Samhain “ Hi Lady Karissa . Nice to see you once again.”  Lady Suzanne tells her.

“Hi Lady Suzanne. Nice to see you too. You know Lord Thomas, Lord Frederick William and Lord Patrick William II.” Lady Karissa asks.

“My damn husband has too many cousins for me to know.” Lady Suzanne tells Lady Karissa “ Heck Lord Richard Edward II, great-grandfather had four children, and his father had four children.” Lady Suzanne tells Lady Karissa..

“Lord Frederick William III is the grandson of Lord Frederick William Howard, Lord Thomas William Howard is the great-great-grandson of Lord Frederick William Howard,  Lord Richard William Carey is Lord Frederick William Howard’s great-great-grandson, and Lord Patrick William Howard II is Lord Frederick William Howard great-grandson and so is Lord Richard Edward II is Lord Frederick William Howard great-grandson.” Lady Karissa states.

“Our children are his great-great-grandchildren through Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR and one of his sons.” Lady Karissa tells Lady Suzanne.

“I sometimes wish I hadn’t married Howard at all.” Lady Suzanne states, “but I did.” 

“I feel the same way, but knowing Lord Richard Edward II like I know his damn first cousin. You are stuck as I am.” Lady Karissa tells her.

“The only good thing about Lord Richard Edward II is that he only wants two children.” Lady Suzanne states. He will have only two children.” 

“Lord Andrew Charles expects five children, and I am expecting our son in June of 2280. He can wait again until 2284 until it is time again.” Lady Karissa states.

“Lord Richard Edward III is already a handful. I want our second child to be a daughter.” Lady Suzanne states.

“I see our children are together and I have heard Lord Charles Andrew JR tell my husband and your husband they are the future of the Howard clan.” Lady Suzanne states.

“They are welcome to each other.” Lady Karissa tells Lady Suzanne “Lady Elizabeth butts horns with her father all the time.” 

“So does Lord Richard Edward III with my husband. He calls his great Uncle into the picture in the defense of his late brother all the time.” Lady Suzanne states.

“Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lord Richard Edward II “Now don’t get my grand nephew upset now, Lord Richard Edward II, my brother isn’t here to defend his grandson, but I am.” Lady Suzanne tells his nephew.

“We have your suites ready for you, Lady Karissa and the children will share the nursery.” Lady Suzanne tells her.

“We thank you for your hospitality, Lady Suzanne.” Lady Karissa tells her.

The Howard carriage pulls into the Wessex Manor and with Lord Richard William by her side, Lady Karissa carrying Lady Samhain who is carrying Kosem Sultana in her arms and Lady Elizabeth by her side walk into the Wessex Manor.

Lady Karissa joins Lord Richard Edward II, Lady Suzanne in the living room with Lord Richard William by her side and the children are playing with each other.

They spend the evening with each other and have dinner and finally Lady Karissa with Lord Richard William Carey by her side head for their suites.

Lady Karissa and Lady Suzanne look at the children in the nursery and they are asleep.

Lady Karissa wishes Lady Suzanne a good night and she walks to her suite and gets ready to go to bed as they are headed for Pembroke.

The next morning after breakfast they get back into the Howard carriage and it heads for Pembroke Territory.

At the Border of Pembroke Territory is Kevin and Richard in his car waiting for the Howard carriage as it pulls toward Pembroke Territory and Lady Karissa sees Kevin and Richard waiting for her.

Lady Karissa gets out of the carriage and she walks towards her two best friends and they smile and Kevin and Richard walk over to where Karissa is and they smile “ Hi Karissa .” They tell her.

“Hi Kevin and Richard. I am glad to see you again.” Karissa tells them and they all embrace each other and they walk toward the Howard carriage.

“Kevin and Richard. You know Lord Richard William Carey, but this is Lord Thomas William Howard, Lord Frederick William Howard, Lord Richard Edward Howard II and Lord Patrick William Howard II.” Lady Karissa tells them.

“These are my two daughters, Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain, Duchess of Clarence Territory.” Lady Karissa tells them.

“How is Lord Preppy?” Kevin asks.

“Stick in the mud is the same.” Lady Karissa says with a laugh.

“Lord Andrew Charles is out at Norfolk Estate while Lord Charles Andrew III is watching Beltane Manor for me.” Lady Karissa tells her two friends.

All of a sudden the musicians come out of nowhere to welcome their new Duchess and they start to play some good old fashioned medieval music to welcome Lady Karissa and her entourage and Lady Karissa steps out with Kevin and Richard and all three start to dance together with the townspeople.

Lord Frederick William III, Lord Richard William Carey, Lord Thomas William Howard join them while they are dancing and everyone has a good time.

Lady Karissa walks with Lord Richard William Carey, Kevin and Richard to meet her people and they walk up and bow and curtsy to her and they give her bouquets of flowers and they give Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain baby dolls, handmade quilts, and dresses.

Lord Richard William gives each family a thank you gift and they smile and walk back to their family.

“Please Lady Howard. My husband needs work.” One lady tells her.

“Send your husband to Beltane Manor. I will see he is given work.” Lady Karissa tells her.

“Lady Howard, we need a local school here.’ One lady tells her.

“I will put in the request that the United Federation of Planets send the supplies to build a school for your children.We have some good Quaker families in Bedford Territory, and I am sure their daughters would be very happy to educate your children.” Lady Karissa tells them.

“I will not allow religious intolerance to infiltrate my territory. We must embrace diversity.” Lady Karissa states.

“We must learn to live together with each other in harmony and learn to accept each other's faiths and traditions.” Lady Karissa states.

Lady Karissa walks with Lord Richard William Carey, Kevin and Richard greet and meet the good people of Pembroke Territory and finally they head for Pembroke Castle.

It is a magnificent duplicate of Pembroke Castle where King Henry VII was born in 1457 .

Lord Richard William carrying Lady Elizabeth and Lady Karissa carrying Lady Samhain in her arms and walking by her side, Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt. Richard Williams walks into the Pembroke Castle.

Lady Karissa walks over to her two best friends and they embrace each other and they hug each other “ I am sure glad that you two could join me.” Karissa tells her two best friends.

“Come on Karissa . What are friends for?” Kevin tells her. “We will always be here for you.” 

“Kevin and Richard. I am expecting Lord Andrew Charles' first son.” Lady Karissa tells them.

“Hey Lord Richard William. Why don’t you castrate the sorry bastard.” Kevin asks Lord Richard William Carey.

“We have other plans for him. His father has already threatened him that he would remove him from the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory.” Lord Richard William states. “Lady Elizabeth is not ready to govern Norfolk Territory.” 

“She looks like Karissa.” Kevin states. “Thank God she doesn’t take after her father.” 

Lady Elizabeth looks at Lt. Riley “ “I don’t like my father.”  Lady Elizabeth retorts.

“We can't blame you, Lady Elizabeth. We don’t care for him either, but we love your dear mother.” Kevin tells her.

“Listen here now, Lady Elizabeth, for the sake of your mother and your grandfather that I have much respect for. Please behave yourself for your grandfather, and mother.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley asks her.

“Lady Elizabeth is a female carbon copy of Lord Andrew Charles Howard and this is why they butt horns with each other.” Lord Richard William tells Kevin.

“Lady Samhain is adorable, Karissa.” Richard tells her.

“Lady Samhain has earned the name of “Little Peace-Maker “ within the Howard family.” Lady Karissa tells her friends “Odin knows that they needed one and so he sent Lady Samhain to them.” 

How did Kevin Thomas Riley and Lady Karissa and Lord Richard William Carey ever know that later on they would all become later related to each other when Lord Richard William and Lady Karissa ‘s daughter, Lady Caroline Matilda Carey would marry Kevin and Lady Isabella’s son, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley II in 2303 and with their marriage they would have a son, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley III would become the grandfather of Lord Kevin Thoams Riley V who would marry Lady Karissa Elizabeth Howard who was Lady Karissa ‘s great-great-granddaughter through her eldest daughter, Lady Elizabeth and her son, Lord Anthony Christopher.

Odin always knows what is best and he set the ball in motion and at the right time he would reunite The Howard’s, The Stuart’s, The Beck’s, and The Carey’s and The Riley’s together.

Kevin had been a long time friend of Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Andrew Charles Howard, but discord came between them with the arrival of Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell, but in the end Odin would win and he would sit back on his throne in Valhalla

and he would make sure there was only peace between all the families.

Odin believed in War and Peace but he loved Peacemakers and he sent Lady Samhain to bring peace between The Howard and The Beck’s. 

Lady Karissa asks Barbara to put the children to bed and Lord Richard William, Lady Karissa with Kevin and Richard spend the evening in the living room at Pembroke Castle.
