The First Grandson : Lord Anthony Christopher Howard, Duke of Lancaster Territory, Part II

Lady Karissa and her entourage decide to leave Pembroke Territory after a vacation away from Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Elizabeth looks at her mother “Momma. I miss Beltane Manor and my suite.”  Lady Elizabeth tells her mother.

Lady Samhain walks over to her mother “ Momma. I miss my daddy.” Lady Samhain tells her momma.

Lady Karissa looks at her two daughters and tells them “ Alright we will return to Beltane Manor. I will send a message to your father to return to Beltane Manor.”  Lady Karissa tells them.

Lady Karissa summons Lord Richard William Carey, Kevin and Richard tells them that they are planning to return to Beltane Manor as Lady Elizabeth and Samhain want to return to Beltane.

“I will get the carriage ready.” Lord Richard William states and he calls his cousins and Lady Karissa tells them “ We won’t stop this time and I have had the cook make us enough food to take with us back to Beltane Manor.” 

Karissa walks up to Kevin and Richard “ I am going to miss you so much, but don’t become a stranger to Beltane Manor. You two have an invitation to come whenever you want too.” Karissa tells them.

“Don’t worry Karissa . We won’t be far away.” Kevin tells her and with that Kevin and Richard prepare to return to StarFleet Academy.

Lord Richard William has the Howard carriage ready to go and he calls Lord Thomas William, Lord Richard Edward II, Lord Frederick William III and Lord Patrick William II and tells them” We will see you safely back to your territories.” 

Lord Richard William takes Lady Elizabeth by the hand and Lady Karissa carries Lady Samhain who is holding Kosem Sultana in her arms and Barbara to climb into the Howard carriage and he climbs in and Lord Richard Edward II leads the entourage from Pembroke Castle, Lord Patrick William Howard II is the back, Lord Frederick William II is on the right side and Lord Thomas William is on the left side and they start on their way back to Bedford Territory and to Beltane Manor.

First stop, is Wessex Territory where Lady Karissa thanks Lord Richard Edward II, and the second stop is Northumberland Territory where Lord Thomas William is Duke, third stop is Lord Frederick William III, and finally they see Lord Patrick William II back to Cambridge Territory and finally the carriage heads for Beltane Manor and Lord Andrew Charles with Lord Charles Andrew JR and Lord Charles Andrew Howard III are waiting for the Howard carriage to pull in and Lord Charles Andrew JR smiles as he sees his two granddaughters.

Finally the carriage comes to a stop and Lord Richard William gives Lady Karissa  his hand and she steps out carrying Lady Samhain and Lady Elizabeth by the hand.

“How did your journey go to Pembroke Territory?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I love Pembroke Territory.” Lady Karissa states, “but your children missed you Andrew Charles Howard.” Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord Andrew Charles bends down and Lady Samhain runs to him and he picks her up and he hugs her “Have you been good for your momma?”  Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I have been good. Look at my baby Kosem Sultana” Lady Samhain tells her father.

“She looks like Kosem. I heard that she was a good wife to Sultan Ahmed I of Turkey and The Ottoman Empire.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lady Elizabeth stands by her mother and she just looks at her father and Lord Andrew Charles holds out his arms and Lady Elizabeth runs into her father’s arms and he holds her “Have you been good Lady Elizabeth?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I have been good. I have a new baby named Empress Katherine.” Lady Elizabeth shows her father her doll.

“I heard she was very beautiful but her husband Peter did not appreciate her.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Both of them received enough new dolls that could govern Star Base 12.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

Lady Elizabeth sees her grandfather” Grandpa. When are we going to York Manor?” Lady Elizabeth asks.

“If your mother will agree I will take you back with me.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Elizabeth.

“It is fine with me, Lord Charles Andrew JR.” Lady Karissa tells him “ Let Barbara pack her up with clean clothes and toys to carry with you.” Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord Richard William Carey looks at Lord Andrew Charles “ The trip went very well. Your cousins send their regards.” 

“I am grateful to you, Lord Richard William Carey.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his cousin.

“Kevin Riley and Richard Williams send their best.” Lord Richard William tells him.

“If you see them again, tell them I send my regards.” Lord Andrew Charles tells him.

“Lord Charles Andrew JR, you have temporary custody of Lady Elizabeth.” Lady Karissa explains.

“Lady Elizabeth. I will have your grandfather return you to Beltane Manor when it is time for me to have your little brother.” Lady Karissa tells her.

“Lord Charles Andrew JR asks your nephew to bring your grandnephew to York Manor so Lord Richard Edward III and Lady Elizabeth can play with each other.” Lady Karissa asks.

“Don’t leave them unattended.” Lady Karissa asks.

Lord Andrew Charles picks up Lady Samhain in his arms and he carries her inside of Beltane Manor and Lord Richard William walks beside Lady Karissa .

“Our children missed Beltane Manor.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“How was your time at Norfolk Estate?” Lady Karissa asks.

“Norfolk Estate is full of memories. I read my great-great-grandfather’s journal he kept during his journey to Star Base 12 that he started on April 30, 2153 and he wrote that it was one day later he found out his world was shattered.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“My great-great-grandfather was the only one that kept the rest of his travelers hopeful and told them that they would survive.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“He didn’t find out until 2165 that he had lost his entire family from the United Federation of Planets.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“I can only imagine his pain and loss.” Lady Karissa explains “ The country he loved was destroyed by hungry power men.”  Lady Karissa explains.

“History states that Genghis Khan fell from his horse and he died, Napoleon Bonaparte was slowly poisoned, Hitler committed suicide and Colonel Green came to his demise by the hands of Flint the Immortal launching the Ebloa Virus on him.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Good rulers like Ahmed I of Turkey died at a young age.” Lady Karissa explains, ``None of  his sons that became Sultans of Turkey did as their father’s had asked them to do and let their brother’s live.” Lady Karissa states.

“Franticide is no different than infanticide, suicide, or any other kind of murder.” Lady Karissa states, “There can be no reason why brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and so forth can’t live in peace and harmony.” Lady Karissa states.

“What can it benefit if a brother kills his brother, whatever happened to brotherly love.” Lady Karissa asks.

“I mean Sultan Osman II killed his younger brother, Şehzade Mehmed and Sultan Murad IV killed all but the youngest brother, Ibrihim.’ Lady Karissa states.

“All those poor mothers watched their sons and daughters die under the hand of their brothers.” Lady Karissa states.

“Surely Allah is his greatest reward Ahmed I for his mercy, justice, and love toward his brother.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Both the Habsburgs and Ottoman Empire came together during World War I but they both lost it. They were both extremist to one degree.” Lady Karissa states.

“The Ottoman Empire was Islam and The Habsburgs were Roman Catholic and both fell with the judgment of Odin.” Lady Karissa states.

“East wouldn’t meet West and they couldn’t or wouldn’t find common ground with each other and both empires ended during World War I.” Lady Karissa states.

Lady Karissa looks at Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William and she curtsy to them and walks away from both of them.

“Lord Richard William. Your great-great-great-grandfather mentions your paternal great-great-great-grandfather in his journey and he wrote “ Lord Phillip Carey was a gallant gentleman with his wife, Lady Louisa Elizabeth Fitzgerald.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his first cousin once removed.

“Does Lord Patrick William mention anything about England?” Lord Richard William states.

“Lord Patrick William wrote on May 1, 2153 this is his entry “This is what we were told by the Commanding Officer of The USS Excalibur  At precisely 0230.26 hours Eastern Standard Time, on 1 May 2153 (an event later known as the "May Day Horror of '53"), the Eastern Coalition launched a first strike comprised of intercontinental ballistic missiles, bomber attacks, and portable nuclear weapons, against major North American and European cities, combined with a simultaneous Interface viral assault against the New United Nations computer infrastructure.[citation needed] Much to the surprise of the ECON political leadership, the New United Nations immediately retaliated with nuclear launches of their own, as well as bomber and satellite-based attacks against targets in the Middle East and Asia. Many Pacific nations sided with the Eastern Coalition against the United States when fighting finally broke out. Other political groupings, such as the Muslim Bloc, were likewise hit extremely hard during the nuclear exchanges, despite being non-aligned with either side during the war.

The detonation of nuclear weapons over cities (in the multiple-megaton range) such as Washington, D.C., London, Moscow, Berlin, New York City, Boston, Dallas, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Mecca, Riyadh, Samarkand, Karachi, Singapore, and New Delhi killed nearly half a billion people instantly. Smaller detonations occurred over Hong Kong, Beijing, and Ho Chi Minh City. Un-detonated or failed nuclear devices were discovered in or around targets such as Denver, Paris, Madrid, Rome, and Istanbul. Of the hundreds of ICBMs and bombers launched by the United States and allied forces, only one in five made it into the air, due to EMP weapons and viral attacks against the military computer networks — of these, only a fraction detonated properly. 

In the end, most of the world's major governments collapsed, and over 600 million people had died just from the immediate combat.” Lord Andrew Charles reads it to Lord Richard William Carey.

“No one knew what hit them.” Lord Andrew Charles states, “Like a thief in the night they striked.”

“Odin forbid it ever happen again, Lord Andrew Charles.” Lord Richard William tells his cousin.

“Good Night, Lord Andrew Charles. The journey has been long and tiring. I need my rest and I need to return to Bedford Castle tomorrow.” Lord Richard William tells his cousin and he walks out of the living room and up the stairs and enters his suite at Beltane Manor.

The next morning, Lord Richard William returns to Bedford Territory to take care of his territory.

Lady Karissa wakes up and Lord Andrew Charles tells her “Lord Richard William returned to Bedford Territory today.” 

“I have no designs on Lord Richard William Carey.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles, “ I still have Lady Samhain to take care of and Lady Elizabeth is with your father. “

Everything is peaceful at Beltane Manor with Lady Elizabeth at York Manor, and Lord Richard William Carey at Bedford Castle.

It is just Lord Andrew Charles, Lady Karissa and Lady Samhain at Beltane Manor.

Finally summer arrives at Beltane Manor, on Litha, June 21, 2280, Lady Karissa goes into labor and Lord Andrew Charles asks his father to return Lady Elizabeth to Beltane Manor so she can be present at her brother’s birth.

Lord Charles Andrew JR arrives with Lady Elizabeth, and he is joined by Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord Patrick William Howard II to await the birth of the first Howard great-great-grandson of Lord Patrick William Howard through his second great-grandson, Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior.

Lord David William Beck arrives to meet his newest second cousin with his son, Lord David William Beck II.

Lord David William Beck at 6 PM at Beltane Manor delivers a handsome, baby boy and he is given the name of Lord Anthony Christopher Howard and he is given the Dukedom of Lancaster Territory in the name of his great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard.

Lord Andrew Charles rushes into Lady Karissa and he looks down at her holding their firstborn son in her arms and he says “ He is wonderful.” 

“How much did he weigh?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“Lord David told me he weighed 9 lbs.” Lady Karissa states.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR walks in with Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain and Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Karissa “ He looks like my grandfather, Lord Frederick William Howard. It was said he was one of the most handsome  men in his time.  I am afraid my father didn’t inherit much of his good looks or his common sense or his grandfather’s compassion.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Karissa.

“We don’t always inherit the traits from our great-grandfather’s that we want too.” Lady Karissa states.

Later on, Lord Andrew Charles  would take this picture of Lord Charles Andrew III, Lord Patrick William II, Lord Anthony Christopher and him.

It would always be the one picture that Lord Andrew Charles would always treasure and he would give the same picture to his two brothers to shove it to their faces that he was the first son to their father a grandson as he did when he presented Lady Elizabeth to their father back in 2275.
